Booking & Reservations

Do you have any smoking rooms?

No – all of our bedrooms are now strictly no smoking in line with legislation.

How do I make a group Booking?

All Group reservations are handled personally by the General Manager who can be emailed on info@ascothotel.im.

Can I pay by cheque?

Cheques are only accepted for payment if they have cleared before you arrive. We would recommend sending a cheque at least 10 days in advance of your stay if you wish to pay via this method

Do you require a deposit?

During busy periods in the summer, a deposit may be required and taken. At most other times, a valid credit card simply to hold any reservation is sufficient.

What credit cards do you accept for payment?

We accept all major credit and debit cards including American Express, VISA, Mastercard, Visa Debit

What is your cancellation policy ?

Stays cancelled or amended within 48 hours of arrival will not be charged for, anything done after this time period will liable for charges of full payment for the first night’s stay. This policy does not apply for especially busy weeks such as TT week or MGP when a separate cancellation policy of 4 weeks exists.

Can I check out late ?

A late check out facility is available ( subject to room availability, of course!!) up to 6pm at a charge of £30 per room

Where can I park my Car?

The hotel does not have a private car park, however there is unrestricted free street parking in the vacinity of the building.

What time is Breakfast served?

Full Manx breakfast is served from 7am to 9.30 am

Can I get Internet Access in my Room?

The hotel operates a secure wireless network which is free of charge for our guests.You can also get coverage from the bar, lounge and reception area.

Arrival & Departure

Can I check in late?

We do suggest that you contact us  if you are planning on arriving after 11.00pm as the reception staff may lock the door for security reasons.

What time is check-out ?

Check out time is 10.30am. A late check out facility to 6pm, charged at £30, is available subject to availability.

What’s the earliest I can check in?

Your room will be ready for you from 2pm on the day you’re due to arrive.

Functions

When can you host private functions ?

The Ascot Hotel can cater for functions from October to April inclusive in our private function room.

Can you supply a DJ for functions?

Yes, we can arrange a DJ for you, or you can book your own.

Where can I find Tourism information?

What currency do I need for the Isle of Man?

The Isle of Man prints its own bank notes and coins which are in pounds sterling and so you can use any British pound note in the Isle of Man.
